DVRPC Public Participation Task Force Invites Public to Workshop

The Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission‘s (DVRPC) Public Participation Task Force (PPTF) is inviting the public to a brainstorming workshop on the Commission’s annual work program.

The workshop is scheduled for Tuesday, September 10 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The meeting will be held in-person and online via Zoom.  If joining in-person, please register by Friday, September 6th. In-person attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about DVRPC’s Work Program and Long-Range Plan and take part in the brainstorming portion of the workshop (and served complimentary dinner!). Online attendees will be able to listen to the presentations and take part in a virtual brainstorming session, a DVRPC spokesperson said.

The Annual Work Program determines the planning projects that DVRPC staff will undertake in order to meet the region’s changing transportation and planning needs. Transportation covers more than getting from point A to point B; it helps shape our communities, connections, and possibilities. DVRPC wants to hear what planning projects you want to see in the region at this workshop. Come ready to learn, engage, and discuss your ideas about what planning projects and studies DVRPC should consider today in order to build the region we want and need in the future, officials said.
