Fugitive from Justice Taken into Custody by LSH Police

A fugitive from justice who was convicted for sex offense involving a child was taken into custody by Lower Southampton Police late last week.

Lower Southampton authorities were notified of a person who was seen in the area and was wanted by the US Marshalls service.

30-year-old Vincent Steven Ritchie, no fixed address, absconded PA State Parole in 2023 after  he was convicted for sexually based crime involving  a child, authorities said.

Ritchie was taken into custody by Officer Engle of the Lower Southampton Township Police Department after he was located in the area of the 100 block of E. Street Road.  Ritchie was transported to the Bucks County Correctional Facility pending a parole violation hearing.
