PennDOT: Pipe Replacement Project on Route 332 Begins Monday

PennDOT announced pipe replacement is scheduled on Route 332 (Newtown-Richboro Road) in Northampton and Newtown townships, under a $14.9 million project to upgrade stormwater management facilities over the next month.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions

• Tuesday, September 3, through early October, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., a weekday lane closure is scheduled on Route 332 (Newtown Richboro Road) between West Hanover Street and Rock Way.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur. The schedule is weather dependent.

Highway Materials, Inc. of Flourtown, Montgomery County, is the general contractor on this project, which is financed with 100 percent state funds.
