State Police Reports: Arrest Warrant Issued for Philly Man Having an Illicit Mobile Pharmacy of Sorts, Woman Charged with Child Endangerment and More

In Pennsylvania State Police (PSP)-Trevose, news a Philadelphia man was arrested accused of being an illicit substances pharmacist on wheels; a Philadelphia woman was arrested for endangering a child’s welfare, while in a third incident a Philadelphia man was arrested for fleeing/eluding and recklessly endangering another person.

On May 17, Troopers conducted a traffic stop of  2003 beige Ford Taurus, at Woodhaven Road and Bristol Pike in Bensalem Twp at 2 am.  State Police noted in a press release, “signs of potential criminal activity” and requested permission to search the vehicle, which was denied by the driver. A drug detection K-9 was called out to the scene and picked up on the odor of narcotics, Troopers said. Odor doesn’t quite cover what State Police discovered, subsequent to a judge approving a search warrant for the vehicle.

The male suspect was released from the scene with a warrant for his arrest issued days later.

Troopers observed a vehicle on May 28, 2025, which had eluded the PSP the prior day. After backup arrived, a traffic stop was attempted on I-95 southbound in Bensalem Township, but the vehicle fled. Troopers boxed it in, forcibly removed and detained the 38-year-old operator, who was identified as the same individual who fled the day before. A 14-year-old child was also in the car. Charges were prepared, she was arraigned, unable to post bail, and transported to Bucks County Jail.

In the third state police contact, on Monday June 16 2025 at 12:22 a.m., PSP attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle for multiple vehicle code violations on I-95 northbound in Bensalem Twp. The vehicle failed to stop and a pursuit was initiated endangering three other people. The vehicle eventually stopped and the operator was arrested for fleeing and eluding, in addition to recklessly endangering another person(s). The 22-year-old suspect was processed accordingly and arraigned via Webex, said state police.

Police from Plumstead Township Police Department with an assist from Tullytown  Borough Police  are asking for help from the community in attempting to locate a missing  17 year-old .

Ryan  Jaatar Age 17 is  5ft 8in Brown eyes and has not been seen since January 3, 2026, police say.

Jaatar was last seen by his father at their residence in Plumstead Township.

Jaatar’s, according to investigators,  is believed to be in the Levittown/Bristol/Croydon area.

Floral Design Program Wins Again at Philadelphia Flower Show

In only its second year, Bucks County Community College (BCCC) picked up another medal at the prestigious horticultural expo for its ‘Rooted in Art’ tribute to Stella Elkins Tyler.

BCCC’s floral design program has once again taken home a prize in only its second year participating in the Philadelphia Flower Show. Students, alumni, and instructors earned a bronze medal for “Rooted in Art,” reflecting the College’s origins of being founded on the Newtown estate of artist and educational philanthropist Stella Elkins Tyler. The exhibit features Tyler’s sculpture “Joan of Arc at Orleans,” donated to the College by Carol Tyler, who visited the show with College President & CEO Dr. Patrick M. Jones (Feature Pic).  The College was founded on the Tyler estate in Newtown more than 60 years ago. The exhibit features seven original floral designs, each interpreting the connection between nature, art, and education, alongside six selected student works from the College’s School of Arts and Communication.

A team of 20 students, alumni, and instructors from BCCC’s floral design program helped install “Rooted in Art” at the Philadelphia Flower Show, which reflects the College’s origins of being founded on the Newtown estate of artist and educational philanthropist Stella Elkins Tyler. The exhibit features one of Tyler’s original bronze sculptures, “Joan of Arc at Orleans,” pictured in the background.
