Travel Restrictions on Interstate 295 Thursday, Friday



The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced Friday that rumble strip and delineator installation is planned at night next week on Interstate 295 in Lower Bucks County.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction: Thursday, July 6, and Friday, July 7, from 7:30 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, a single lane closure is scheduled on eastbound and/or westbound I-295 between the Route 413 (Bristol) and Business U.S. 1/Route 413 (Penndel/Levittown) interchanges in Bristol and Middletown townships.
The work is being done under a $45.4 million improvement project to perform high-priority repairs on several structures on I-295, Interstate 95, and Interstate 476 in Bucks, Philadelphia, and Delaware counties, officials said.
