Two Year Closure for Lombard Circle Ramp to I-95 N at Penn’s Landing

PennDOT announced the Lombard Circle ramp to northbound I-95 at Penn’s Landing will close for approximately two years for demolition of the existing concrete pier between the ramp and Columbus Boulevard, and for pier and foundation construction.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:

• Monday, April 7, the ramp at Lombard Circle and Columbus Boulevard to northbound I-95 will be closed and detoured for approximately two years. Northbound Columbus Boulevard traffic will be detoured to the northbound I-95 on-ramp at Summer Street.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent
