Inmate Dies at Bucks County Jail

An inmate at the Bucks County Correctional Facility died Monday and the death is under investigation.

The inmate, a male in his 30s, was pronounced dead Monday by medical personnel at the jail.

There were four deaths reported at the jail in 2022, and this is the first reported death for 2023, three of which were deaths by suicide, according to county records.

Bucks County Detectives and the Department of Corrections Investigations Unit are investigating the man’s death, County Spokesperson James O’Malley said.
