Lane closure on I-295 in Levittown, Trenton Road in Middletown & Hulmeville to close

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced Friday that regional bridge repairs will continue next week on Interstate 95 in Philadelphia and Interstate 295 in Bucks County under a $44.6 million improvement project to perform high-priority repairs on structures on I-95, I-295, and Interstate 476 in Bucks county

Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:

• Tuesday, May 9, through Thursday, May 11, from 7:30 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, a single lane closure is scheduled on eastbound and/or westbound I-295 between the Route 413 (Bristol) and Business U.S. 1/Route 413 (Penndel/Levittown) interchanges in Bristol and Middletown townships;
• Wednesday, May 10, through Monday, September 11, Trenton Road will be closed and detoured 24/7 over I-295 between Route 413 (Veterans Highway) and Bensalem Boulevard in Middletown Township and Hulmeville Borough. Motorists will be directed to use Route 413 (Veterans Highway), New Falls Road and Bensalem Boulevard.

Local access will be maintained for both closures. Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through or near all the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent
