LIHEAP now open for 2024 Winter Season

The Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program is taking applications for the 2023-24 heating season.

LIHEAP helps families living on low incomes pay their heating bills in the form of a cash grant.

Households in immediate danger of being without heat can also qualify for crisis grants. The income limit for the LIHEAP program will remain at 150% of the federal poverty level income guidelines. This equates to the following income limits listed on the accompanying chart.

Additional information on the program and the application can be found here.
