PennDOT announced that weeknight milling and paving operations are planned on Rte 213 in Middletown, Lower Southampton Twps. and Langhorne Boro through mid-May.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:
- Monday, March 31, through Friday, May 16, from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m., the following morning, a weeknight lane closure with flagging is scheduled on Route 213 (Bridgetown Pike/Maple Avenue) between Buck Road and Lincoln Highway in Middletown and Lower Southampton townships, and Langhorne Borough.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
Under the resurfacing and improvement project, PennDOT’s contractors are repairing, milling, and repaving state highways with new asphalt pavement that will seal roadways and provide motorists with a safer and smoother riding surface.
