PennDOT announced construction is scheduled starting Monday on U.S. 1 and Rockhill Drive in Bensalem and Middletown townships.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:
- Monday, June 23, through Friday, June 27, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., the following morning, lane closures will flaggers be in place on Rockhill Drive in both directions between Neshaminy Boulevard and Old Lincoln Highway for paving.
- Monday, June 23, through Friday, June 27, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., the following morning, lane closures will be in place on U.S. 1 in both directions between Rockhill Drive and Hulmeville Road for a traffic shift and paving. Southbound U.S.1 traffic will be shifted fully to its final configuration onto the rebuilt southbound lanes prior to the start of paving.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
