With recovery efforts throughout Lower Bucks County still ongoing, forecasters warn locals of potential flash floods and heavy rain are expected to land in the area Saturday afternoon.
The National Weather Service, issued a early Saturday morning flash flood alert for Lower Bucks.
Numerous thunderstorms are forecast to develop this afternoon and evening across portions of the area. These storms will be capable of producing heavy rainfall and strong to damaging winds. Remain alert for possible warnings later on today, the service said in its latest update.
Rainfalls totals of 1 to 2 inches are expected with 3 to 5 inches possible in local storm areas.
The watch is in effect from 2 p.m. Saturday to 2 a.m. Sunday morning.

Additionally a heat advisory is also in effect until 8 p.m Saturday night with expected hot temperatures and high humidity to combine and make it feel like its 103 degrees outside.
Forecasters advise limited outdoor exposure, to drink plenty of liquids and check in on older adults living alone.
