Penn DOT Road Work in Lower Bucks Set for Monday

Penn DOT announced last week road and bridge work projects scheduled for Bensalem, Langhorne Borough, Middletown Township, and Lower Makefield to begin on Monday. 

In Bensalem daytime and nighttime lane restrictions will be in place next week on U.S. 1, Street Road (Route 132), and the Pennsylvania Turnpike (Interstate 276). 

 Work schedules: 

  • Monday, June 1, through Friday, June 5, from 5:00 PM to 6:00 AM the following morning, single lane closures will be in place on the eastbound and westbound Pennsylvania Turnpike at the Bensalem Interchange for construction on the U.S. 1 overpass;
  • Monday, June 1, through Friday, June 5, from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM, single lane closures will be in place on northbound or southbound U.S. 1 between Rockhill Drive and Old Lincoln Highway for roadway and bridge construction; and
  • Monday, June 1, through Friday, June 5, from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM the following morning, single lane closures will be in place on eastbound or westbound Street Road (Route 132) between Old Lincoln Highway and Kingston Way for roadway and bridge construction.

Resurfacing operations scheduled for Langhorne Borough, Middletown, Lower Makefield and Morrisville are as follows. 

• Monday, June 1, through Friday, June 5, from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, lane restrictions are scheduled on Winchester Avenue between Pine Street and Bridgetown Pike in Langhorne Borough and Middletown Township for milling and paving operations; and
• Monday, June 1, through Friday, June 5, from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, lane restrictions are scheduled on Trenton Avenue between Pine Grove Road and Delmorr Avenue in Morrisville and Lower Makefield townships for milling and paving operations
