PennDOT: ​Aqua Pennsylvania Utility Improvements Scheduled for Bensalem

PennDOT announced Aqua Pennsylvania will be performing water main construction on Brown Avenue in Bensalem for several months.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:

• Monday, November 18, through Thursday, May 1, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Brown Avenue will be closed and detoured weekdays between Route 513 (Hulmeville Road) and Knights Road in Bensalem Twp. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Knights Road, Route 132 (Street Road), and Route 513 (Hulmeville Road).

Local access will be maintained up to the work zones. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

Aqua Pennsylvania will complete these projects under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
