PennDOT announced overhead sign maintenance on I-95 Monday to Wednesday and bridge inspections mid-week on I-95 along with work on several other state highways in Philadelphia.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:
- Monday, November 4, through Wednesday, November 6, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, intermittent lane closures are planned on northbound I-95 between the Broad Street and Packer Avenue interchanges.
- Wednesday, November 6, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., a right lane closure is scheduled on the eastbound I-76 ramp to the Grays Ferry Avenue/University Avenue Interchange.
- Thursday, November 7, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., a right lane closure is scheduled on the eastbound I-676 (Vine Street Expressway) ramp to southbound I-95.
- Thursday, November 7, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., a right lane closure is scheduled on the northbound I-95 ramp to westbound I-676.
- Friday, November 8, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., alternating lane closures are scheduled on southbound Delaware Avenue between Berks Street and Palmer Street.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns may occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
