PennDOT announced various construction activities will occur at night on I-76 (Schuylkill Expressway).
Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:
- Monday, June 16, through Friday, June 20, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, a lane closure will be in place on the ramp from westbound I-76 (Schuylkill Expressway) to southbound U.S. 1 (City Avenue) for milling and paving.
- Monday, June 16, through Wednesday, July 2, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, a weeknight lane closure is scheduled on sections of I-76 (Schuylkill Expressway) in both directions between the U.S. 1 (City Avenue) and I-676 interchanges for line striping, pipe cleaning, sign installation, and barrier repair.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because significant backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
