PennDOT announced various work activities are scheduled next week on U.S.1, I-95, and I-76 in Philadelphia.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:
- Monday, November 18, through Thursday, November 21, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., the following morning, a lane closure will be in place on sections of eastbound and westbound I-76 (Schuylkill Expressway) between the U.S. 1 and 30th Street Station interchanges for sealing, line painting, rumble strip installation, and bridge deck repair.
- Monday, November 18, from 7 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., a right lane closure is planned on northbound U.S. 1 (Roosevelt Expressway) between Germantown Avenue and 16th Street for line striping.
- Wednesday, November 20, and Thursday, November 21, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., a left lane closure is scheduled on southbound U.S. 1 (Roosevelt Expressway) at the I-76 (Schuylkill Expressway) Interchange in Philadelphia.
- Friday, November 22, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., alternating lane closures are scheduled on southbound I-95 at the Bartram Avenue/Essington Avenue Interchange in Philadelphia.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns may occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
