Water Department to Close Market St Ramp to I-95 South for Sewer Improvements in Philly, PennDOT Says

PennDOT announced that the Philadelphia Water Department will be performing sewer improvements on the Market Street Ramp to Interstate 95 South, Philadelphia for two weeks starting the last week of March.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:

Monday, March 24, through Sunday, April 6, a 24/7 closure is scheduled on the Market Street Ramp to I-95 South. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use southbound Columbus Boulevard and the Morris Street Ramp to I-95 South.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
