The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced last week that construction will begin on Monday, August 2, on a project to inspect, maintain, and repair a pump station in Lower Bucks County.

The station which hoovers on the boundary between Bristol Borough and Bristol Township on Route 413 and U.S 13 will be upgraded to improve storm water drainage within the area of the pump, Penn DOT said in a press release.

Carr & Duff Inc., of Huntingdon Valley, Montgomery County, is the general contractor on the  project, which is financed with 100 percent state funds.

Motorists can check conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras
