PennDOT announced maintenance crews will be working on repairing deteriorated pavement.
The Philadelphia region experiences a high volume of potholes each season due to temperatures fluctuating between freezing and mild, known as a rapid freeze-thaw cycle.
Potholes can be reported to PennDOT’s Customer Care Center by visiting www.customercare.penndot.pa.
Motorists are advised of travel restrictions and possible slowdowns next week when driving near work crews patching potholes on the following roads:
Haunted Lane in Bensalem Township.
Main roads being repaired in the area of Philadelphia are I-95, I-76, I-676 (Vine Street Expressway), and U.S. 1 (Roosevelt Boulevard).
Drivers are reminded to slow down in the work zone and refrain from distracted driving to keep themselves and workers safe.
Crews will be patching potholes until all areas are addressed. All activities are weather dependent.
