The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that stormwater improvements are planned next week on several state highways in Montgomery, Bucks, and Delaware counties, under a $14.9 million project to upgrade stormwater management facilities on more than 90 state highways across the five-county Philadelphia region. Listed below are the affected roads in Lower Bucks.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions Monday, February 19, through Friday, February 23, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- Lane closure is scheduled on Route 332 (Richboro Road) between Hanover Street and Rock Way in Newtown Township, Bucks County.
- Lane closure is scheduled on Jacksonville Road between Route 132 (Street Road) and Steamboat Drive in Warminster Township, Bucks County.
- Lane closure is scheduled on County Line Road between Jacksonville Road and Madison Avenue in Hatboro Borough, Montgomery County, and Warminster Township, Bucks County.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near or through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. The schedule is weather dependent.
Highway Materials, Inc of Flourtown, Montgomery County, is the general contractor on this stormwater improvement project, which is financed with 100% state funds.
