Credit: Submitted

PennDOT announced approximately a two-month resurfacing operations project scheduled for a section of Route 413 in Bucks County.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:

  • Sunday, June 9, through early August, from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, a lane closure will be scheduled Sunday to Friday evenings on Route 413 (Langhorne Newtown Road/Pine Street) between Route 332 (Newtown Bypass) and 300 feet north of Gilliam Avenue in Langhorne Borough and Middletown Township for milling and paving.

Under the resurfacing and improvement project, PennDOT’s contractors are repairing, milling, and repaving the section with new asphalt pavement that will provide motorists with a safer and smoother riding surface.
