The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced Friday that PennDOT maintenance and contractor crews will be repairing deteriorated pavement on more than 55 state highways next week across the Philadelphia region.
The work locations in the readership area for the week of April 1 are:
- Eagle Road, Newtown Township
- Lindenhurst Road, Lower Makefield Township
Other work locations in Bucks County are:
- Route 32 (River Road), New Hope and Upper Makefield Township
- Route 232 (Windy Bush Road), Upper Makefield Township
- Route 332 (Newtown Richboro Road), Northampton Township
- Bustleton Pike, Northampton Township
- Tollgate Road, Richland Township
- Aquetong Road, Solebury Township
- Trumbauersville Road, Richland Township
- State Street, Doylestown Borough
- Lower State Road, Doylestown Township
- Mechanicsville/Solebury Road, Buckingham Township
- Point Pleasant Pike, Plumstead Township
Crews will restrict travel lanes on these state highways to patch areas of deteriorating pavement. Motorists are advised to be alert of this moving operation and to expect intermittent lane closures and possible slowdowns when driving near work crews. All activities are weather dependent.
Motorists are reminded to slow down in the work zone and refrain from distracted driving to keep themselves and our workers safe.
PennDOT would also like to remind motorists that potholes and other roadway concerns on state roads can be reported by calling 1-800-FIX-ROAD or visiting www.penndot.pa.gov and clicking on “Submit Concern”.
