PennDOT: Road Closure on River Road for Two Weeks Beginning Monday

PennDOT announced maintenance activities are scheduled for the next two weeks on River Road

Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:

• Monday, September 30, through Tuesday, October 8, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Route 32 (River Road) will be closed weekdays between Taylorsville Road and Woodside Road in Upper Makefield and Lower Makefield townships, for paving. During the closure, motorists are directed to use Taylorsville Road and Woodside Road.
• Wednesday, October 9, through Monday, October 14, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Route 32 (River Road) will be closed weekdays between Woodside Road and Route 332 (Afton Avenue) in Lower Makefield Township and Yardley Borough, for paving. During the closure, motorists are directed to use Woodside Road, Taylorsville Road, and Route 332 (Afton Road).

Local access will be maintained. Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
