SEPTA has announced work plans for the West Trenton Line. Starting Monday, October 23, work will be conducted through Friday November 3 from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m..

Part of an announced infrastructure improvement plan , work will begin between Township Line Road & West Trenton.

SEPTA officials said they would be doing overhead power line work for  the next two weeks. SEPTA Power Department personnel will be working from the wire train (which uses a diesel locomotive), removing old power catenary wires from the track that SEPTA previously shared with CSX.

The affected communities are: Middletown Township, Lower Makefield Township, and Yardley Borough. SEPTA anticipates operating normal service throughout work period. SEPTA trains will approach crossings at normal speeds and activate crossing gates in their usual fashion.
