PennDOT announced that stormwater improvements are planned starting Monday under a $14.9 million project to upgrade stormwater management facilities on more than 90 state highways across the five-county Philadelphia region.

Motorists are advised of lane closures on Monday, June 10, through Friday, June 14, at the following location:

  • Highland Avenue between Avenue F and Hulmeville Road in Middletown Township from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, for paving.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. The schedule is weather dependent.

Highway Materials, Inc. of Flourtown, Montgomery County, is the general contractor on this project, which is financed with 100 percent state funds.
