PennDOT: Bridge Repair, Paving, Next Week, U.S. 1 (Roosevelt Expressway)

PennDOT announced bridge repair and paving operations will occur at night next week and continuously next weekend on U.S. 1 (Roosevelt Expressway).

Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:

• Monday, July 15, through Wednesday, July 17, from 8 p.m. to 11 a.m., the following morning, periodic single and double lane closures are planned on northbound U.S. 1 (Roosevelt Expressway) between Interstate 76 and Fox Street for bridge deck repairs.
• Monday, July 15, through Wednesday, July 17, from 6 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., the following morning, periodic single and double lane closures are planned on southbound U.S. 1 (Roosevelt Expressway) between Fox Street and I-76 for bridge deck repairs.
• From 6 p.m. Thursday, July 18, to 5:30 a.m., Monday, July 22, periodic double lane closures will be in place on northbound and southbound U.S.1 (Roosevelt Expressway) between Interstate 76 and Fox Street for bridge deck repairs, paving, and line striping.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because significant backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
