PennDOT: Core Borings Continue on I-95 in Northeast Philadelphia

PennDOT announced  core borings will continue at night next week on Interstate 95 in Northeast Philadelphia.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:

  • Sunday, June 30, through Tuesday, July 2, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, a right lane closure will be in place on northbound and southbound I-95 between the Allegheny Avenue and Betsy Ross Bridge interchanges.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
