PennDOT announced that core borings and bridge repair work are scheduled at night next week on I-95.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:
- Monday, June 10, through Thursday, June 13, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, a right lane closure will be in place on northbound I-95 between Tioga Street and the Betsy Ross Bridge for core borings.
- Monday, June 10, through Friday, June 14, a single lane closure will be in place at 9 p.m., followed by a double lane closure at midnight to 5 a.m. on northbound I-95 between Bleigh Avenue and Ashburner Street for diamond grinding.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
