PennDOT announced a daytime lane closure is planned for Tuesday and Wednesday on northbound Interstate 95 in Center City Philadelphia under the $329 million CAP project to replace and expand the covered area over the interstate.
Weather permitting, motorists driving I-95 around Center City are advised of the following travel restrictions:
- Tuesday, June 11, and Wednesday, June 12, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., a right lane closure will be in place on northbound I-95 between the Columbus Boulevard on-ramp and the I-676 off-ramp for barrier-mounted delineator installation.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because significant backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
