PennDOT announced core borings, bridge inspections and repairs will continue next week on Interstate 95.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:
- Monday, June 24, through Thursday, June 27, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, a right lane closure will be in place on southbound I-95 between the Betsy Ross Bridge and Allegheny Avenue interchanges.
- Monday, June 24, through Friday, June 28, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, a lane closure will be in place on the ramp from southbound I-95 at the Betsy Ross Bridge Interchanges for emergency joint repairs.
- Monday, June 24, through Friday, June 28, a single lane closure will be in place at 9 p.m., followed by a double lane closure at midnight to 5 a.m. the following morning on southbound I-95 between Ashburner Street and Bleigh Avenue for diamond grinding.
- Monday, June 24, through Wednesday, June 26, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., alternating lane closures are scheduled on northbound I-95 between the I-76 West/Route 291 and the Broad Street interchanges.
- Tuesday, June 25, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., a right lane closure is scheduled on southbound I-95 between the Broad Street and the Enterprise Avenue interchanges.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
