A 25 year-old Norristown man might of thought robbery charges dismissed against him last fall were never going haunt him again.
He was wrong.
Magisterial District Judge Kevin P. Wagner arraigned Gregory Lee Corbitt II on October 27 remanding him to Bucks County Correctional Facility setting bail at 1o percent$250,000.00.
According to police, on Tuesday September 10, 2024, at 10:56 a.m., Bucks County Radio received a call from a complainant to report an older female was just thrown out of a white Toyota Corolla at the intersection of Route 413 and Interstate 95. The vehicle fled the scene northbound on Rt 413.
Bristol Township Police arrived on scene and spoke to the victim. She was bleeding from her right arm and right leg. The victim told officers she was Door Dashing in the area of Lower Bucks Hospital when a *black female entered the back seat of her vehicle wanting a ride, according to the probable cause.
The victim started to drive Corbitt, then they started to argue about giving the victim’s phone back for directions. A struggle ensued over the phone, then Corbitt, according to police, jumped into the passenger seat of the vehicle and pushed the victim out of the vehicle at the intersection of Route 413 and Interstate 95.
Corbitt, according to police, fled the scene northbound on Route 413. A flash notification of the vehicle was given over police radio. A Middletown Township police officer was able to stop the white Toyota Corolla on South Flowers Mill Rd and detain the driver, Corbitt.
The victim was transported to where the vehicle was stopped. The victim was able to positively identify Corbitt as the passenger who pushed her out of the vehicle.
Corbitt was charged with three felony robbery related offenses and two misdemeanors. He is scheduled to appear to for a preliminary hearing on December 12.
