Parx Casino is expanding operations it announced on Tuesday.

Plans for the  Bensalem Township-based casino to open a second location in Shippensburg, PA  in February were announced. 

The announcement to a newly branded social media page branded Parx Casino-Shippensburg garnered close to 500 followers shortly after it was posted.

The opening of the 73,000-square-foot casino will include about 500 slot machines and 48 electronic table positions along with a 100-seat restaurant and sports bar featuring a full bar and wide selection of beers, won’t happen until “sometime” in February, officials said in response to online inquiries.

There will also be the added bonus of feature sports wagering kiosks to bet on your favorite college and professional sports teams.

Stone-baked pizzas made to order in an onsite, live-fire oven as well as burgers, sandwiches, chicken parmigiana, spaghetti and meatballs, fish and chips and much more, according to officials.

In addition to the Facebook launch, the casino in progress also launched a separate website for those seeking employment at the soon to be open gaming site.
