Former Bucks Catholic School Teacher Pleads Guilty To Child Porn Charges

A pedophile masquerading as a Bucks County Catholic School teacher has pled guilty to felony counts of child pornography offenses federal authorities announced last week

Richard Adamsky, 66, of Warminster, , entered a plea of guilty before United States District Judge Gerald J. Pappert on one count of receipt and attempted receipt of child pornography and one count of possession of child pornography on December 22, United States Attorney David Metcalf announced.

The ex Nativity of Our Lord Catholic teacher  was indicted in September of 2025, for knowingly receiving a visual depiction of a minor engaged in sexually explicit conduct on or about June 15, 2024. Additionally, Adamsky possessed two computers and two flash drives containing visual depictions of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct. These depictions included prepubescent minors and minors under 12 years of age, according to federal investigators.

At the time of his arrest, Adamsky had been a 7th and 8th grade teacher at the school in Warminster, , where he had taught for the last 38 years, authorities said.

This case was brought as part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative to combat the growing epidemic of child sexual exploitation and abuse launched in May 2006 by the Department of Justice. Led by United States Attorneys’ Offices and the Criminal Division’s Child Exploitation and Obscenity Section (CEOS), Project Safe Childhood marshals federal, state, and local resources to better locate, apprehend, and prosecute individuals who exploit children via the internet, as well as to identify and rescue victims.

The charges stem from Adamsky’s June arrest by Bucks County authorities. He was placed on administrative leave by the school shortly after his arrest. He was employed there for 30 according to court records.

Adamasky faces a possible maximum of 40 years’ imprisonment, with a mandatory minimum term of five years in prison.

His sentencing date has yet to be scheduled, according to online federal court records.
