Bucks County Coroner, Meredith Buck, confirmed Monday afternoon a body of an adult male thought to be the person who went missing in the Delaware River at 6612 Radcliffe Street in Bristol Township the evening of June 27, 2023, was recovered earlier today from the shore of the Delaware River at 6200 block of Radcliffe Street.
“His identity and the cause and manner of his death continue to be under investigation” Buck said.
Bristol Township Police called the incident a “drowning” last week.
“He was wearing a gray, green and tan camouflage zip up hoodie with gray sweatpants, and black sneakers. His identity and race are currently unknown” the Coroner said
“We are asking anyone with information to contact the Bristol Township Police Department at 267-812-3000 or the Bucks County Coroner’s Office at 267-880- 5040,” Buck said.

Early Monday morning a local man got the shock of his life when he discovered a body washed up in the area 6200 block of Radcliffe Street, Bristol Township.
“Yes a body was recovered and he is believed to be the subject that went missing last week. We do not have an ID as of yet. He is listed as John Doe,” said Bristol Township Police Lt C.J. Winik, Monday afternoon.
The body was discovered on the river behind a home on the 6200 block of Radcliffe Street just before 7:45 am. First responder reports initially said the body was located in the area of Green Lane and Farragut Avenue
The homeowner alerted dispatch there was a body in the river and appeared to be bloated. He thought it could be the man who jumped into the Delaware last week trying to elude police. He was trying to steal a Pontoon boat from a home on the 6600 block of Radcliffe St, police said last week.

Police declared the man dead from drowning,last week however, some locals refused to accept that determination for various reasons.
New Jersey State Police and US Coast Guard utilized boats and an aviation unit in attempts to locate the missing man after he jumped into the Delaware River, police said.
Edgely Fire Company this morning was on scene helping with the body recovery a community member passing by the home said . The Bucks County Coroner transported the man body just before 10 am. And an autopsy is pending.
