Falls Township Police are investigating an attempted armed robbery that occurred early Saturday in which the victim suffered a stab wound requiring medical attention.
According to police, on Saturday, June 29, officers responded to Pennsbury Woods Apartments, 9000 block New Falls Road, Levittown, to investigate an attempted robbery which just occurred. The victim, a 43 year -old male resident of the complex, reported that at approximately 1:00 AM he was walking to his parked vehicle when he was accosted by a six-foot tall, thin black male, who appeared to be in 30’s, with short black hair, wearing jeans, a white shirt, and tan Timberland boots.

“During this time the male brandished a handgun and demanded the victim’s keys and wallet. The victim actively fought the male during which time he sustained defensive wounds as well as a stab wound to his abdomen, caused by an unknown item/weapon. The suspect fled on foot and was not apprehended,” said Lt Chris Clark
The victim was transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center, New Jersey, for his injuries, said Clark
