Falls Township Police Chief Nelson Whitney just confirmed Jennilynne Derolf’s death for Lower Bucks Source.
A Press Release from the Falls Police is as follows:
On 8/22/2021 at 1618 hours, FTPD Officers responded to the area of Bristol Pike and Wheatsheaf Lane to check on the well being of a juvenile. Family of the 14 year old male contacted police after becoming aware that the woman arrested for sexually assaulting him, Jennilynne Derolf, had contacted the juvenile and arranged to meet with him. Upon the arrival of the police officers, Derolf committed suicide with a firearm, stated Falls Police Chief Nelson Whitney. The juvenile was not injured.
The facts and circumstances surrounding this incident are still under investigation.
Chief Whitney thanked the Bucks County Coroner’s Office for their assistance in the investigation.

A Levittown woman accused of having a sexual relationship with a student from a Falls Township school died by suicide Sunday night, three credible sources told Lower Bucks Source.
Persons with knowledge of the situation said Jennilynne M. Derolf, 39, of Levittown took her own life and left a note behind on Sunday.
Residents of Falls Township, noted police activity in the area of the Delaware Canal foot path, off of Rt 13 in Levittown, Saturday in which a body was found. Lower Bucks Source has yet to confirm if the body was Derolf’s.
Allegedly Derolf’s said she didn’t want to put her family through the horrors of a trial.
Derolf, who was arrested and charged with six counts of felony sexual assault and one misdemeanor on July 15th, had her bail set as 10 percent of $900K. On July 23, however, in a bail reduction hearing, it was reduced to 10 percent of $100K
She spent eight days in Bucks County Correctional Facility.
Her next court appearance was scheduled to be for Octber 27 in Falls Township District Court,
Officials from the Bucks County District Attorney’s office and Falls Township Police were not available to respond to requests for comment as of Monday morning.
