Bensalem Honors Transformed Business for COVID Related Effort



At Monday nights Bensalem Township Council Meeting a local business that transformed itself to support efforts in fighting the coronavirus pandemic was honored.
1675 Spirits, owned by Ian Monagle and Randy Taylor transformed their alcohol business so they cold make hand sanitizer as the pandemic set in. The police department was one of its first recipients of the protective hand wash from the repurposed business and for that effort township officials honored the duo.
Michelle Benitez and Harvey Kilner alerted township officials to the effort, when they were told by fellow residents.
Monagle and Taylor were presented with a $250 check they could donate to a charity of their choice, and plaque honoring their efforts.
