Bensalem Officials: Damage Assessment Ongoing, Resources are Available



Bensalem Emergency Management officials are still on the ground in affected areas of the Township. The assessment of storm damage is continuing throughout the area.
One roadway closure still remains on Old Lincoln Highway between Horizon Boulevard and Street Road. This closure will remain in effect until further notice. All other roadways within the township have been cleared and are open to traffic.
If you have major structural damage to your property or business and it hasn’t been reported yet, please call Bensalem Police at (215) 633-3719.
Any residents who have been displaced by the storms may call the Red Cross Hotline for assistance with temporary shelter or other urgent humanitarian needs. (215) 299-4000
The United Way of Bucks County is offering emergency cleaning supplies, nonperishable food, and household goods available to those impacted by the suspected TORNADO free of charge through their HELP Center in Bristol. They will accept walk-ins today from 12-5 if anyone impacted by the tornado is in need of these kinds of supplies. The address is 194 Commerce Circle, Bristol, PA. A disaster outreach center will be established at the Bucks County Lower Bucks Government Center. See attached for more information. We will continue to update you as the storm assessment and clean up operations move forward.
