Bensalem Police Arrest Man Who Got 14-Year Old Pregnant

Bensalem Police arrested a 20-year-old Bensalem man stands accused of statutory rape, corruption of minors and a related offense. 

According to the criminal complaint, police received a Childline referral back in October informing them of a 14-year-old female who was impregnated by a 20-year-old male identified as Segundo Simbaina of Bensalem. 

The 14-year-old disclosed to police during a forensic interview that she had been in a sexual relationship with Simbaina since she was 13. They had intercourse at his apartment at 2500 Knights Rd. When confronted by police, Simbaina admitted that he had been having sexual intercourse with the girl since Feb. 2025.

Simbaina has been charged with statutory sexual assault, corruption of minors, and indecent assault. He was served by Judge Joseph P. Falcone and bail was $200,000. He was unable to post 10% and was remanded to county jail. Simbaina  is represented by Parlow & Lang, LLC based in Trevose and is scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing in February.
