Bensalem Police Department are investigating the death of an elderly female who was discovered in her home dead on Saturday Oct, 25.
According to the press release, Bensalem Police were called to do a wellness check on the 5000 block of Hunters Court South. Upon arrival, Police found a deceased female inside.
The female was identified as 70 year -old Cynthia Bouffard. She was found to be emaciated and had been deceased for some time in her living room.
Bouffard’s body was transported to the Bucks County Coroner’s Office for an autopsy to determine her cause of death.
Bensalem authorities are treating this as a suspicious death, pending the results of the autopsy report, authorities said.
