The Bensalem Police Special Investigative Unit (SIU) took one more alleged drug distributor off the streets in a undercover sting operation arresting a Levittown man who sold methamphetamine and marijuana to a undercover cop twice in recent weeks, according to court records.
54 year -old Brian Lichtenberger was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Michael W. Gallagher Wednesday morning on 10 felony drug distribution charges and related offenses. He was remanded to the custody of Bucks County Correctional Facility on 10 percent $1 million bail and is due back in court on June 24th.
According to the probable cause, police deploying undercover officer from Bensalem PD S.I.U coordinated a controlled purchase from Lichtenberger on May 27 in the area of Bristol Commerce Park .
The undercover officer contacted Lichtenberger via his phone number 215-377- **** and arranged to purchase methamphetamine and marijuana.
Lichtenberger agreed and later met the undercover selling him an unknown quantity of the illicit substances.
On June 6 a second undercover controlled purchase of methamphetamine and marijuana from Lichtenberger was arranged meeting with the undercover in the area of Sparky’s bar located at 4333 New Falls Road to conduct the transaction.
The officer was later provided were recorded United States Currency to conduct the purchase. Lichtenberger later arrived to an adjacent business parking lot, Hong Luck Restaurant located at 2221 Veterans Highway, Levittown. As Lichtenberger was exiting his vehicle in the parking lot he was taken into custody by members of Bensalem S.I.U., police said in court records.
Lichtenberger’s vehicle was later searched and a large amount of suspected , methamphetamine, ‘psilocybin, various pills, crack cocaine, THC edibles, and various paraphernalia consistent with drug dealing were discovered, the probable cause alleges.
The methamphetamine and marijuana was later sent to the labs which revealed a positive result of both substances, investigators said.
In April Bensalem Police SIU busted Nicole Hiller of Falls Twp who had taken over her boyfriends meth based drug distribution operation while he was in jail. Hiller, it is alleged, sold methamphetamine to a confidential informant working with police. Her case is navigating itself through the county court system with a court date pending in July
