Cops: Arrest Warrant Issued for Serial Burglar

Bensalem Police last month issued an arrest warrant for man they say has broken into area storage facilities.

Alec Apostolou, 50, is wanted by investigators who say he’s responsible for entering storage facilities and forcibly entering storage lockers stealing items from them.

Bensalem Police filed an arrest warrant for Apostolou on June 17, on 16 theft related felonies, other charges.

Last month  a Bensalem Police Detective was reviewing video and observed that the suspect exiting the storage facility and riding his bicycle south on Bristol Pike towards Philadelphia.  The suspect had injuries to his face that were consistent with the injuries sustained by Apostolou on June 2, 2022 when he was involved in a vehicle crash.  The suspect was tracked to the the Sunoco gas station located at Knights Road and Frankford Avenue where he entered the convenience store.  Employees of the store were able to identify the subject as “Alec” who was known to them.   A further investigation confirmed the identity of the burglary suspect as Apostolou, a press release said.
