Cops: Burglar Makes off with Candy



A burglar broke into a Bensalem gas station making off with a box of candy last week and police are on the lookout for the thief.
According to Bensalem Police the burglary happened at the Lukoil Gas Station on the 4600 block of Street Road on May 2, a little after 3 a.m.
The suspect can be seen on video surveillance approaching the front entrance of the station, pulling out a tire iron and smashing the front doors several times before gaining entrance.
The suspect can be seen racing back and forth in the cash register area, attempting to gain access to it. The described white -male 30 to 40 years of age, finally tries to push and punch through the encased register area giving up and in observable frustration grabs a box of candy racing out of the business to an unidentified white sedan fleeing the area.
In the video two vehicles can be seen passing through the area as the suspect drives quickly away.
