Cops: Search Warrant Leads to Arrest and Seizure of 26 Pounds of Weed

Local and federal authorities executed a search warrant at Bensalem home leading to the arrest of a Philadelphia for drug distribution offenses.
Bensalem Township Police’s special investigation unit and an FBI unit recovered over $70,000 of drugs in a home on Konefal Street.
37 year old Clinton Douglas, was arraigned by District Judge Regina Armitage Monday charged with one count of felony drug distribution and a related offense.
The recovery took place on Monday March 7th, police had executed a search warrant for the home in question.
Inside the home police found 26 pounds of weed, mushrooms edibles, among other drugs that are popular in the drug trafficking scene. Police also found $21,000 in cash, a Yamaha motorcycle valued at approximately $7000 and a Rolex watch valued at $44,000.
According to the police, the home belonged to Douglas, who was inside the residence at the time of the search.
Douglas posted bond hours later and was released.
He is scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing on March 23 at Bensalem District Court.
