Crash in Front of Bensalem Amazon Leaves Motorcyclist in “Critical Condition”



A a crash between a SUV and a motorcyclist in the drive way of the Benesalem Amazon Warehouse Monday sent both operators to the hospital with the one listed in “critical condition” as of Tuesday Morning.
Detective Sergeant Glenn Vandegrift said Bensalem Police were called to 3750 State Road for a accident involving a 2019 Nissan Rouge and a 2012 Harley Davidson.
Vandergift said the motorcyclist was traveling in the southbound lane, the Nissan SUV in the north bound lane and attempted to make a left hand turn as the the Harley’s driver was entering the driveway into the Amazon Warehouse drive way.
He was thrown off the motorcycle, he said, upon impact was taken to Jefferson-Torresdale Hospital where he is currently listed in critical condition, Vandergift said.
The motorist was also taken to the hospital to be treated for injuries, police said and later released.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing Vandergift said.
No additional information was released.
