A tipster just 45 minutes prior reported police activity on Rt 13, with additional details but did not identify which of the several departments patrolling that area was on scene. Nor was there any information on the cross street provided. A communication to Bensalem Police officials was sent out and replied to quickly asking if the police presence at the hospital was related to what the tipster said**.
Bensalem Police was assisting Falls Township Police with an investigation,” responded Sgt Glenn Vandergrift, “we will not be releasing any information.”
Communication with Falls authorities went unturned until late Friday when a press release arrived describing some of the details surrounding Hussein’s arrest.
A search of NYC related law enforcement press releases didn’t turn up anything either. A late night call to NYPD media relations and several contacts working in New York media also returned zero results as of 3 am Saturday.
Hussein was preliminarily arraigned by Judge Michael Gallagher and remanded to Bucks County Prison without bail.
This story will be updated when new information becomes available.
