Firefighter Falls of Roof, Investigation into Warehouse Fire Ongoing, Officials Say



First responders from all over Lower Bucks County responded to a warehouse fire Saturday that left one firefighter in stable condition after he fell 25 feet from a roof top.
According to Bensalem Police, fire crews were dispatched for a water flow alarm just after 9:15 am Saturday. Upon arrival, officials say, at Ebooks Web LLC located a 1388 Bridgewater Road in Bensalem, an active fire was burning.
Multiple volunteer fire companies responded to handle the two-alarm blaze public safety officials said.
During the incident, a firefighter, from Nottingham Fire Company, fell from the roof. He was transported to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
As of Sunday morning the fire-fighter was reported to be in stable condition.
The investigation into cause and origin of the fire is underway with Bensalem Township Fire Investigators, Bensalem Detectives and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF).
