First Responders lined Altomare’s street welcoming back after he was hurt on Saturday battling a fire at Ebooks Web  on Bridgewater Road Saturday falling about 25 feet from a ground ladder.

Fire officials said Sunday he was listed in stable condition at Jefferson Torresdale Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries before being released Monday.

“We are happy that Nick was able to ‘escape’ the hospital after a brief stay and will be able to rest more comfortably at home,” the Nottingham Fire Department posted on its Facebook page. “Thanks to the neighbors who also came out to welcome Nick back. Nick is not out of the woods just yet. He still has a long road ahead.”
