A 54-year-old man New Jersey man was arrested and charged by Bensalem Police for allegedly stealing a safe containing cash, and important officials documents from a trailer at Terry’s Trailer Park with a second suspect wanted by Police.
District Judge Joseph P. Falcone arraigned Anthony Albanese Monday afternoon on felony charges of burglary, criminal trespass, theft, and receiving stolen property Falcone set bail at 10 percent of $60,000 with a hearing set for Feb. 26.
Albanese was released same day after he posted bail and has acquired private legal representation from Abigail Beth Gustafson, Esq. of Philadelphia.
According to Police, on Thursday, January 8, 2026 at approximately 10 a.m., a Bensalem Twp officer responded to Terry’s Trailer Park, 1302 Gibson Road, lot 141 for a burglary report . Upon arrival, Police spoke with the victim (V#1), who reported that at approximately 8:00 a.m., two subjects wearing all black entered his trailer through an unlocked door and stole a safe from his bedroom.
The safe contained approximately $8,000 and other personal items as well as a passport and social security card belonging to another person (V#2).
The incident was captured on video surveillance which confirmed the victim’s account.
According to the probable cause, video surveillance showed suspect #1 to be a short male wearing all black and suspect #2 to be taller wearing a black sweatshirt with an emblem on the left breast and black Puma sweatpants. Video surveillance also captured the suspects’ vehicle, a white SUV, which was identified as a Volkswagen Tiguan.
Bensalem authorities reviewed township intersection cameras and additional video surveillance which confirmed the vehicle to be a white Volkswagen Tiguan bearing a New Jersey rear license plate. There was no front license plate on the vehicle. License plate readers captured the suspects’ vehicle in Bristol Township at 7:11 a.m. and 7:25 a.m. which was approximately 35 minutes prior to the burglary.
A check of the NJ license plate found the registered owner to be Albanese of Old Bridge, New Jersey. Additional LPR hits in New Jersey captured the suspects’ vehicle on January 7th and January 9th 2026. Those captures showed a front license plate on the vehicle. Bensalem Police learned that the vehicle was involved in a traffic accident in Newark, New Jersey on January 12th, 2026. The driver of the Tiguan at the time of the accident was Albanese. He was the lone occupant, the criminal complaint says.
Bensalem Police, on January 19 spoke with Albanese’s wife who confirmed that her husband is the owner of the Tiguan and he’s the only one who drives the vehicle. Investigators also spoke with Albanese over the phone. Albanese could not tell police as to where he was on the day of the burglary but denied any involvement in the breakin. He also denied ever being in Bensalem or Bucks County. Albanese later claimed he did not have a front New Jersey license plate and was not affixed to the vehicle, which was determined to be false based off LPR hits, police wrote in court records.
On January 22, 2026 the detectives spoke with the victims who after learning that the suspects may have been from New Jersey, identified Gino Manna, as a possible suspect. Manna was identified as being the owner of the trailer.
Manna is a white male listed as being approximately 5’5″-5’6″, police said.
Detectives discovered Albanese and Manna were friends on Instagram and Albanese had commented on one of Manna’s pictures on Facebook.
Police also identified a vehicle registered to Manna which was a black Cadillac sedan bearing a New Jersey registration. Manna lives in Garfield, New Jersey which is approximately one hour north of Albanese’s residence in Oak Ridge. At approximately 6:07 a.m., Manna’s vehicle is captured on an LPR approximately three miles from Albanese’s residence. It would take approximately one hour to drive from Albanese’s residence to Bristol as the LPR hit in Bristol was at 7:11am.
Detectives also discovered, that the Tiguan pulled into the Wawa located at 3260 Bath Road (intersection of New Rodgers Road and Durham/Bath Roads) in Bristol at approximately 7:11 a.m. on January 8th, 2026. Video surveillance from the Wawa shows two men exit the Tiguan. The driver, who is wearing the same clothing from the burglary, enters the Wawa while the passenger, a short and bald male is observed removing the front license plate off of the Tiguan. The passenger matches the description of Manna. The driver, who is the person earlier observed carrying the safe out of the trailer, makes a purchase in the Wawa. This individual is consistent in build as Albanese, authorities said in court records.
The detectives reviewed Call Detail Records (CDRs) for both Albanese and Manna which places both of their cellular devices in the area of the Wawa (3260 Bath Road) when they are observed on video and in Bensalem prior to and around the time of the burglary, specifically in the area of the ShopRite (2200 Bristol Road).
Bensalem Police hold an arrest warrant for Manna on the same felony charges. He has yet to be arrested as of publication time.
